  • Pediatric Interactions 15 Commerce Drive, Suite 116 Grayslake, IL, 60030 United States (map)

Caregivers will learn how to encourage and communicate with their child through movement. Movement will be encouraged through activities, such as dance, obstacle courses, yoga and exercises.  These activities will be paired with music, symbolic thinking, problem solving and lots of creativity.  Parents/caregivers will learn how to carry these activities over at home, especially with the weather changing and more inside time.

* Suggested age: Walking through 2 years of age

Children often learn from watching other kids.  Likewise, they learn from being leaders.  Our class may have children of varying ages, but the leader will assist you in adapting activities to meet your child’s skill level.  Parents and other family members are a child’s first and most frequent teachers.  Caregivers are encouraged to participate in activities during class with their child.  It’s “ok” if your child isn’t doing exactly what the teacher/other kids are doing.  This is the first class for many of the children. Caregivers are encouraged to meet them where they are developmentally, while expanding on their ideas and modeling new things.
